Fruit Smoothie with Protein

Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup water
  2. 2-3 T plain non-fat organic Greek yogurt (protein)
  3. 1/2 t Truvia sweetener (optional- no calories, natural, and not gas producing)
  4. 1/2 banana
  5. 1/2 cup Wymans wild blueberries
  6. 3 strawberries
  7. 1/4 cup chopped frozen mango
  8. 2 cups spinach or kale (protein)

1 large serving = 155 calories approximately.

Put these ingredients into your Vitamix blender in this order (with the spinach on top).  Put on the lid and insert the tamper. Turn the Vitamix onto high. Use the tamper to push down the spinach. Your smoothie should be blended and done in about 20-30 seconds.

Feel free to mix and match different fruits. Melons are great too in this recipe! But you could also try papaya, coconut, or so many others!

You Just Got Healthier! Congrats!

Drink and enjoy! And feel really good knowing that you’ve just fed your body such healthy nutrition. You’ll have the protein for building cells and complex carbs your body needs for energy. You’ll also have the vitamins, anti-oxidants, and micro-nutrients that your body needs for fighting off germs and for fixing cell damage!
