Are some things impossible? Maybe? Like time travel, walking through walls, traveling to another galaxy, etc. (who knows maybe someday even these things will be possible) But mostly there are things that only SEEM impossible. What would you like to do that seems impossible, but you’d really like to do it? Here are 3 mini-stories that illustrate that many things we think are impossible really are possible. I hope these stories inspire you to follow your dream even if it seems impossible.
Do you have a dream project? Have you been putting it off forever because you “never have time to work on it.” (There’s my story again!) Well I have a solution. It’s called chunking and it’s a very simple concept. Check it out.
Do you have days go by where you lament, “Oh, I never get X done.” Or “I never get enough of X done.” Or perhaps “I never have time to get X done!”
Maybe weeks go by and you’re still saying this. Maybe – gasp – years.
Time does go by fast so it’s important that we prioritize what we want in life and take the needed actions to realize those dreams. Assuming that X is important to you, here’s how to make sure that you “have the time” or that you “get X done.” You CAN do it. I promise.
You don’t need more information. What you need is acceptance of the truth.
If you find yourself constantly searching for answers to the same questions, you probably already have the information that you need to know the answer. For example, a common quest many people are on is “how can I lose weight?” There are a million books, articles, websites, programs, etc that will give you some version of the answer. What you need now is not more information, but acceptance of the truth about how to do it. Once you have that acceptance, then you can commit to doing it and finally follow through with action.
So let’s break this down further.
Is there something from your past, that you did or didn’t do, that really bugs you?
Do you find yourself beating yourself up over it?
Even if you say no, think about this: Is there something that you have wanted to accomplish for a while now, but you just haven’t done it? Why haven’t you done it? Could it be that you are so angry with yourself for letting so much time pass? Could that anger be blocking you from moving forward?
Whether you realize it or not, if you are hating yourself for something in your past, that is going to block your ability to be happy today and to realize the future you want.
Here’s the Good News: You can change your future starting TODAY!

How would you like to shed your bad feelings and finally get some of those tasks done? If so, then please join me on my Productivity Journey. Here’s what it’s all about:
Do you have a mountain of things you need to get done? Does the sight or thought of it paralyze you into inaction or procrastination disguised as busywork? Well I hope to show you light at the end of that tunnel and a technique to get out the other end and into the light!
The way to stop being frustrated by politics? Get involved! (And before you stop reading because you have no spare time, please know that there are small ways to get involved that don’t take a lot of time!)
Think about a sports game. It can be frustrating watching a game when your team is losing. But when you are in the game, you can be affecting the outcome and at least know you did your best even if you don’t win. It is the same with politics! So, get on the field of play and use your energy, resources, and your right to contribute to our government. It won’t just make you feel better, it will make your community and country a better place!
Whether you are on the right, the left, in the center, or out in left field, you CAN make a difference in the world. “Somebody” is already making a difference. Why not join in?
If you don’t like the way things are going, stop shouting at the TV and do something! Here’s how:
You have something big you must do. And you can’t seem to get it done. Maybe you’re intimidated by the magnitude of the task. Maybe you’re paralyzed to the point of inaction because you don’t know where to start. Perhaps you are procrastinating by working on everything else besides your big to-do item. So how do you break out and get it done?
One shovelful at a time.
Easier said than done, right? Not if you can see things from the right perspective. Once you change how you think about it, then you can start your journey of a 1000 miles with that one step that will lead to the next and all the way to the finish line. Here’s how: Continue Reading →
