A New Look for Life Learning Today: Canvas Theme

Canvas Woo Theme

Today I’m updating Life Learning Today with a new theme. I’m using “Canvas” theme from WooThemes. The goal is for a simpler look so it will be easier to read and pleasing to the eye. I want y’all to want to come back here everyday to get some good info on making your life the best it can be. (Above is the screenshot of the old site.)

I won’t be going into maintenance mode as I want my readers to still be able to read my content while I’m making changes.

Should be mostly done by the end of the day today. If you notice anything that is broken or if you have any feedback on the layout/look, I’d be grateful if you can contact me with that information. Click for my contact page.

Thank you!

And in the meantime, it would totally make my day to hear from you in the comments at the end of my posts. You can comment via WordPress comments, Facebook, Google+ or even Disqus or Livefyre.

Thank you for all your comments, tweets and other social shares. I always reciprocate!

Thanks!

Best Floating Share Bar Plugin for WordPress

This week I researched floating share button bar plugins for my websites. A floating share button bar is a widget that remains stationary on either the left or right side of your website with links popular social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or StumbleUpon. Here is a review of 4 of the top free floating share plugins along with an additional one you may want to check out that I didn’t test myself.

I will add more if I come across other plugins. Feel free to subscribe to comments so you can be updated as well as let me know if you want to suggest any that I don’t cover.

Running Tips

I have a “new” blog called RunningZen. The goal is to share tips, ideas, and reviews for runners. Some of the content will be pretty standard, but useful. And I hope that some of the content will be eccentric-and useful. This is a work in progress. I would love it if you would come visit and check out some of my beginning articles. I’d love it even more if you find it valuable enough to subscribe and share your thoughts in the comments there.
