A couple of thoughts on shower heads: You can not only purchase a model with a flow valve (to slow the spray to a trickle, not shut it off, so the water stays warm), you can also purchase a model that is certified low flow at 1.5 gallons per minute. Make sure you get one that does not use aeration (cools the water), does not use small holes to limit flow (they clog easy), and does feel good, so you won't be inclined to toss it :) Excellent (and thorough) article.
