Dont forget you can switch your commute to bike instead of car. This is a huge difference on the environment!

Can you even still buy a push mower these days?? I used to love using those things - not only are you working out (i used to run with mine) but you’re also not using gas or electric.

Great tips! I’ve linked to an article i found, quasi-related on the truth behind products that claim to be “Green.” Gotta watch out, people are eying this industry up as a green profit center.

Under your Shopping points I especially like buying locally. In terms of produce I find the big grocery stores here in Canada haven’t embraced this concept whole heartedly yet. Not even during the prime summer growing months.

Buying a hybrid car sounds great on the surface, but when the battery dies did you know that many of the components will simply fill up landfills and create additional hazards? If mostly every person works from home just one day per month, then the savings on fuel will be noticeable and the impact on the environment will be reduced accordingly.

Some nice ideas there.

One thing I’ve always wondered, is whether or not it’s possible to tap the leftover heat when kettles or ovens have been finished with.

Rather than take the tube to work, I often ride the bike. However, I’ve been hit by three selfish motorists in the last six months.
