Car Alarms: More Useful Than You Thought

A New Use For Your Car Alarm
If you don’t have an alarm for your home, check again, maybe you do. If you have an alarm setting on your car and a remote control panic button on your keys, then you do have an alarm! You just have to be prepared to use it.
What To Do
Each time you come home for the night, remember to place your keys next to your bed, say a bedside table. If you hear someone enter your house in the middle of the night, you can click the panic button to set off the alarm on your car.
If your alarm goes off when someone is breaking into your house, there’s a good chance the the criminal won’t want to stick around. After a few seconds all the neighbors will be looking out their window to see what’s happening.
Fail Proof It
Here are a few things to do first to ensure this will work for you.
1)Test the panic button from your bedroom to make sure that it works.
2) Let your closest neighbors know about this tip so that if they hear the alarm, they can call the police. And maybe they’ll want you to listen out for them too.
3) Set up a noise making boobie-trap at your front door, back door, and first floor windows. Simply rig up something that will fall and make noise if someone opens the door or tries to sneak in a window.
Of course this system is not entirely fail proof. If you don’t wake up, then you can’t press the panic button. If you are a heavy sleeper, you might want to consider a more traditional home alarm. But in the meantime, this might help.

they are only good at scaring off people trying to rob you. No one cares when an alarm goes off anymore.
